How to use a curing agent pump

Core Note: The curing agent pump is usually only a mechanical diaphragm type metering pump for conveying the curing agent (benzenesulfonic acid) on the resin sand mixer. One can meet the needs of the resin sand mixing process.

working principle

The curing agent pump is mainly composed of a driving motor, a crank connecting rod mechanism, a pump head, a Check Valve , a flow adjustment knob and the like.

The motor drives the worm gear and the worm pair to perform the shifting motion through the direct-coupled transmission, and under the action of the crank-link mechanism, the rotary motion is converted into a reciprocating linear motion. The sliding rod is directly connected with the diaphragm. When the sliding rod reciprocates during operation, the moving diaphragm is directly pushed (pulled) to move back and forth, and the suction and discharge purpose is completed by the one-way valve on the pump head to achieve the function of conveying the curing agent.

Curing agent pump installation

1. The pump should be installed on a concrete 300-500 mm above the ground, or on a correspondingly solid base, to calibrate the pump in a horizontal condition.

2. There should be no sharp bends in the suction and discharge lines, and components that bend and increase the resistance in the pipeline should be minimized.

3. Do not install the pump in direct sunlight.

4. Please do not install the pump in a place where it is exposed to moisture or corrosive gases.

5. The ambient temperature of the installed pump should be -20---+40 degrees Celsius.

Installation of curing agent pump input and output lines

1. The diameter of the suction pipe should not be less than the diameter of the suction valve of the pump, and the length of the suction pipe should be shortened as much as possible. Generally, it should be 1-2 meters. If the length must be increased, the length should not exceed 4 meters.

2. The pipe connected with the suction and discharge valves cannot be forced to combine to increase the load on the pump valve. The weight of the pipe and valve should not be borne by the pump and the suction and Discharge Valve . The pipe should be supported and fixed after the pipeline is installed.

3. In order to ensure the safe operation of the pump and the safety of the pipeline system, it is recommended to install a Safety Valve on the discharge line. If it is necessary to reduce the pulse during the delivery of the curing agent, a damper can be installed on the discharge line close to the pump, if the pump There is pressure instability at the outlet end. It is recommended to install a back pressure valve.

First, short-term storage

1. Store in a dry environment at room temperature.

2. In accordance with the requirements of the operating environment, precautions can be taken to prevent water or moisture from entering the eccentric housing.

3. Perform a full inspection before starting.

Second, long-term storage

For long-term storage, the drive motor should be energized every 12 months, and the pump should be operated for at least one hour. When this operation is performed, no fluid is required in the pump head, but the outlet must be open to the atmosphere.
