China's equipment manufacturing industry is welcoming gold to the world for 10 years. Data show that in 2014 China's equipment manufacturing exports reached 2.1 trillion yuan, and the export of large-scale complete sets of equipment was about 110 billion US dollars. The overall size of China's equipment manufacturing is one-third of the world's total.

Equipment manufacturing is becoming a new field of China's economic diplomacy. The four Latin American countries (Brazil, Peru, Chile, Colombia) that Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is visiting will sign a memorandum of understanding on international capacity cooperation with China.

At the beginning of May, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Asia and Europe. Most of the more than 90 cooperation projects signed involved energy, equipment manufacturing and infrastructure construction.

"From the perspective of international cooperation, we have gradually shifted from the past general processing industry and the export of general products to the integrated export path of technology, capital and equipment," Wang Liming said.

Wang Liming said that China's equipment manufacturing is first of all a product with advantages. In the field of mechanical equipment, the total manufacturing of electric equipment accounts for about 61% of the world, the total volume of the shipbuilding industry accounts for 41% of the world, and the machine tools account for more than 38% of the world. China's high-speed railway has already built 16,000 kilometers, and is under construction more than 10,000 kilometers. The number of high-speed rails ranks first in the world.

In addition, in aerospace, marine and marine engineering, steel, nonferrous and many other fields, China's manufacturing level, even if it is not the most advanced, is relatively advanced and has the realistic possibility of going out in a wider and wider field.

"The second is that China has cultivated a number of large-scale enterprises with international competitive advantages." Wang Liming said that from the statistics of 2014, 56 enterprises in China's equipment manufacturing industry have entered the world's top 500. CRRC, Huawei, CSIC, Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion and other companies are all in the leading position in the world.

This year, the policy level has increased its support for China's equipment manufacturing. In March, China introduced the first set of major equipment insurance compensation pilots, covering more than 360 equipment products. On May 17, the State Council issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting International Capacity and Equipment Manufacturing Cooperation", which introduced substantial positive measures from the aspects of credit, finance, export credit insurance, and overseas bond issuance.

"The introduction of opinions will greatly promote and promote the entire equipment manufacturing and international capacity cooperation," Wang Liming said.

Wang Liming said that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as the competent department of equipment manufacturing and production capacity, has jointly selected more than 30 key projects with the China Development Bank to promote equipment manufacturing through bank-enterprise cooperation. In addition, in implementing the China Manufacturing 2025 planning target, we will further support the high-end equipment manufacturing industry as a key point, and select some key projects to accelerate.
