Finnish industrial automation specialist Cencorp has recently launched a conductive backplane to assemble its first photovoltaic module as part of its technical plan for photovoltaic manufacturers.
Cencorp said that the module enabled its flex circuit and laser drilling technology, and the components were assembled on an automated pilot line it purchased from Sunweb Solar earlier this year.
Cencorp CEO Iikka Savisalo stated: "Cencorp's first self-owned PV module is currently manufactured on the Mikkeli automated pilot line, which was acquired from Sunweb Solar in January 2013 and further developed by Cencorp. The new component will be used for testing and development. According to Cencorp's own tests, the performance of this component is as we expected. We are planning to bring the first commercial finished product to market in 2013."
