Phoenix Aluminium's High-end New Products Win First International Brand

A “lead-free 6020A variant aluminum alloy” developed by Fong Aluminium was selected as an international brand, which is China's earlier international brand name in the international deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy international registration form under the “China Development” status.

It is understood that the lead-free 6020 modified alloy has the advantages of being lead-free, easy to cut, and environmentally friendly, and is widely used in all industrial standard parts that require cutting.

In January 2003, the European Union promulgated the Environmental Protection Restriction Criteria for Harmful Elements of Electrical and Electronic Products. This technical standard has prevented one-tenth of China's imports of lead-containing metal electronic and electrical products from entering, affecting billions of dollars in exports. In response to the EU's barriers, in the second half of 2003, Fenglu initiated the development of the "lead-free 6020A variant aluminum alloy" project. After three years of hard work, it was finally available on the previous "lead-free 6020A variant aluminum alloy." On March 7th this year, this research and development became an international trademark in the international international aluminum and aluminum alloy registration form under the identity of “China Development”. This was the 1955 Swedish expert’s invention of the first alloy after being selected as an international brand for 52 years. China is the only and the only alloy international brand.

Liu Jingan, a senior engineer at Beijing University of Science and Technology, said that the successful development of the 6020A lead-free free-cutting new aluminum alloy material fills a gap for the development of aluminum alloy in China, which means that China's aluminum alloy research and development has reached the world's advanced level. For China, a global producer of aluminum products, the emergence of “Chinese research” on international brands will trigger a new round of industrial upgrading.
