**I. System Overview**
This system is built upon the Yicard4000 technology platform, offering a powerful and intelligent computer-based control solution that integrates multiple advanced technologies such as computer science, automation, network communication, smart card systems, sensor technology, pattern recognition, and mechatronics. The system features an open architecture that aligns with modern trends, allowing seamless compatibility with third-party devices and systems, ensuring high integration and flexibility for user environments.
The system offers a wide range of functions including access control and elevator management. It is designed to be scalable, with potential future expansions into parking management, alarm systems, and electronic wallet services. This makes it a cost-effective and efficient solution for building management.
With a modular design, the system can be easily customized to meet specific project requirements, ensuring optimal use of resources. It also allows users to expand system capabilities in the future without significant reconfiguration.
The system supports partition-based management, enabling users to set up different security zones and manage arming and disarming procedures efficiently. It can generate floor plans based on building structures, making it easy to control access, lock, or unlock areas with just a mouse click. Daily operations are straightforward and user-friendly.
The network design includes a network isolation feature, which ensures continuous operation even if part of the network cable fails, while also triggering an alarm for maintenance. This feature enhances the system's resilience against lightning strikes and other signal interferences.
Additionally, the system has automatic alarm functions for low voltage and blown fuses, allowing real-time monitoring of the system’s internal security status. Each component is equipped with a backup battery, ensuring the system can operate for over four hours during power outages, guaranteeing safety and reliability.
The RS485 communication protocol uses both active transmission (interrupt request) and polling methods, improving overall communication speed and efficiency compared to traditional polling-only systems.
A powerful main control module is integrated into the system, eliminating the need for constant host rebooting and enabling advanced access control features like interlock and anti-passback.
The system utilizes advanced 1990s inductive smart card technology, featuring 1K byte of storage capacity and the ability to support e-wallet functions in the future. It meets international data security standards, ensuring safe and reliable performance.
These inductive smart cards allow contactless reading, are suitable for plastic sealing, and have a service life of more than 10 years. They can also display apartment logos, helping to enhance the property’s brand image.
**II. Elevator Intelligent Control Design Concept**
Based on the initial requirements for intelligent elevator control, this system is designed with convenience, comprehensive functionality, safety, and strict management in mind, tailored for high-end residential buildings. Each user is issued a proximity card, similar in size to a credit card, which grants access to authorized floors.
The central management computer records all system events and provides management software for querying records and generating reports according to administrative needs.
An elevator control unit is installed within each elevator, consisting of an inductive card reader, a card reading module, and a function expansion module. Once a card is read, the system allows access to the pre-set authorized floors. If an unauthorized floor is selected, the elevator will not respond. Non-cardholders are completely restricted from using the elevator.
Elevator control can be adjusted based on time periods. For example, certain floors may be left uncontrolled during specific times, or general cardholders may be allowed access to more floors. In contrast, during other periods, only authorized cardholders can access designated floors.
The system can also integrate with other subsystems. In emergencies like fire alarms, elevator control is automatically disabled. On critical floors, the elevator and door can be set to "interlock" mode. Emergency alarm devices can also be installed in elevators, allowing users to alert authorities in case of emergencies or unexpected situations.
For visitors, two options are available:
A. Temporary access cards can be issued at the security desk. Visitors must be verified through video intercom by residents before receiving a security card and being allowed to use the elevator.
B. The video intercom system can be connected to the elevator control system. A button installed at the resident’s home allows visitors to be confirmed via video intercom and granted access to the appropriate floor.
