Agricultural straw can produce high calorific value biogas

The technology for industrializing high-calorie biogas production using agricultural stalk resources developed by Taishi City Shishi Environmental Protection Materials Co., Ltd. in Shanxi Province has passed the expert review. The equipment constructed with this technology has been put into operation in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. The device can achieve intensive production of rural clean energy at low cost, reduce carbon dioxide and soot emissions, and provide technical guarantee for changing rural energy structure.
According to reports, the device achieves the goal of low-input, high-efficiency production of high calorific value biogas (methane content 70%-80%), and the bio-energy conversion rate of straw is as high as 80%, which is innovative. The production process of the device is safe and reliable, and does not generate waste liquid, waste residue, or pollute the environment, and has high automation degree and simple operation.
This patented technology independently developed by Taiyuan City Shishi Environmental Protection Materials Co., Ltd. in Shanxi Province; has three major innovations: the compound microbial flora can completely decompose the straw; the biodegradation heat is used to provide heat source for the production device, so that the device is not in any season. Additional heating is required to maintain high efficiency operation; variable pressure anaerobic fermentation technology increases biogas yield and biogas calorific value, reducing device energy consumption. The company plans to build 5-10 demonstration units in Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province this year.
