In July 2011, a unique roof garden project was undertaken in a district of Urumqi, Xinjiang, where the European-introduced Bai Ruitek 1-10DPS75 shot blasting equipment was used for the construction of a rooftop parking lot. This innovative approach aimed to enhance the waterproofing layer, which was made up of Oriental Yuhong SBS membranes. After the waterproofing layer was installed, the area above was transformed into a beautiful green space with trees and flowers, while the lower part remained an underground parking lot.
The use of shot blasting technology was a key step in ensuring the long-term effectiveness of the waterproofing system. The construction team opted for this method, commonly used in Europe, to prepare the base surface properly. By removing all surface contaminants, loose material, and slurry, they achieved a clean, rough, and uniform surface that significantly improved the adhesion of the waterproof membrane.
This project marked the first time such advanced waterproofing techniques were applied in Urumqi, making it a groundbreaking initiative in the region. It not only set a new standard for rooftop construction but also demonstrated the value of adopting international best practices in local infrastructure development.

Curved 358 Welded Wire Mesh Fence: This is a variation of the 358 security fence that includes curved sections. The curves add an additional layer of security by making it even more difficult to climb over the fence. The fence is made by welding wire together in the 358 mesh pattern.
