Recently, the Jining City Tourism Supervision Brigade carried out a guided tour market rectification and inspection activities throughout the city. In order to further improve the service quality of tour guides and standardize the tourism market order, preparations for the Confucius Cultural Festival and the National Games will be completed. The Jining Tourism Supervision Brigade has drawn key strengths into key scenic spots, and has carried out centralized rectification activities focusing on issues such as swindling coercion of tourists' consumption, increasing unauthorized reduction of tourism projects, and poor explanation of quality in the city’s guided tour market.
In order to guide the dynamic management of the tour guides, a guided tour guide IC card scoring inspection was adopted, focusing on inspections of the guided tours of Qufu Three Holes, Zoucheng Laoshan, Wenshang Baoxiang Temple, and Weishan Island, and a total of 10 days. A total of 185 tour guides were inspected, including 158 tour guides in the city, 21 in the province, and 6 outside the province. Seven tour guides were found not to participate in the annual examination and the tour guide IC card was withdrawn.
