Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology announced the list of 34 state-built laboratories for the establishment of national key laboratories in 2009. At the same time, the National Key Laboratory of Hybrid Rice, jointly declared by the National Hybrid Rice Engineering Technology Research Center, Longping Hi-Tech and Hunan Agricultural University, has entered the project establishment process.
