Conversion method Percent concentration converted to ppm concentration: conversion formula is: 1 part of pesticide added water = pesticide percentage × 1000000 / number of ppm to be prepared. For example, the content of 40% ethylene is 1kg into a 2000ppm solution, and the amount of ethylene added is 40%×1000000/2000=200 kgppm.
Convert to multiple concentration: divide the percentage by the number of ppm and shift the decimal point back by 4 to get the dilution factor. For example, 40% of ethephon 1000ppm, when converted to a multiple concentration, use 40 ÷ 10000 = 0.4, the decimal point is shifted back 4 places, that is, 400 times.
