Analysis of downstream demand for PE stretch wrap film

From the perspective of the demand structure of China's wrapping film , it is mainly based on film for industrial packaging, followed by wound wrap film for household and supermarket. In addition, in recent years, forage winding wrap has also grown rapidly.
1. Film for industrial packaging
China has a wide variety of industrial products, and its output and export volume are large. Therefore, the application of the wrapping film in the industry is very extensive. At present, it is widely used in the chemical industry, building materials, food, electronic appliances and other industries. The raw materials used are mainly LLDPE. The rapid growth of foreign trade has driven the rapid development of the packaging industry, especially in the collection and packaging, many companies use the wrapping film to package their own products.
In the early stage of development, China's wrapping film packaging was mostly used for export packaging of port terminals. However, due to the high cost, the port used the wrapping film packaging to gradually transfer to the factory, that is, the products were packaged at the factory and then shipped to the port. Large-volume factories are generally packaged in wrap-around packaging machines, and small quantities are generally hand-wrapped. After the localization of the wrapping machine, the low cost makes the stretch wrapping package quickly transfer from the port terminal to the factory. Therefore, the amount of film used in the port is now very small, and the number of users of the wrapping film is currently large, and the amount of each enterprise is small and scattered. Other areas such as forage winding and preservation, household and supermarket films are growing faster, especially for supermarket films.
2. Film for household and supermarket packaging
The demand for household wound wrap film in China is increasing year by year. At present, the stretch film is widely used for fresh-keeping packaging of foods, vegetables and fruits, so that the packaged articles are stable and clean, and can be waterproof, dust-proof and fresh-keeping.
With the improvement of the living standards of urban and rural residents, the amount of wound film used in urban residents' refrigerators is also increasing rapidly. In addition, the amount of stretch film used in supermarkets has increased significantly in recent years. At present, LLDPE and LDPE are mainly used as raw materials for fresh-keeping packaging films for households and supermarkets, and some enterprises are mixed with a small amount of EVA for processing.
3. Film for agricultural packaging
China's agricultural forage winding wrap began before 1995. It was the first to test the forage cling wrap in Inner Mongolia. A total of 35 tons of stretch film was used, and 76 tons of pasture was preserved for 6 months, achieving good results. In 1998, it began to promote and apply in Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang.
With the rapid development of China's animal husbandry, the continuous adjustment of planting structure, the further implementation of the strategy of developing the western region and the gradual implementation of the national ecological construction plan, as well as the demand for pasture market at home and abroad, the cultivation area is gradually expanding. But the storage problems that followed have become increasingly prominent. The traditional way of silage is not enough tightness, the oxygen in the straw is too much, and the silage effect is not ideal. With the study of the fermentation modulation mechanism of silage, the forage grass wrapping film wrapped silage was invented. The baled and wrapped pastures can be stored stably for a long time and can be stored in the field for 1-2 years, so they have considerable social and economic benefits. In the north of China, most of the previous dairy cows and other winter and spring use hay feed, which is not conducive to the normal growth of cattle and sheep, and the use of fresh-keeping forage feeding, milk production of dairy cows can increase by 20%, can also increase the long-term rate of beef cattle, This greatly improves the quality of feeding and the income of herders. The widespread use of stretch film has also contributed to the rapid increase in demand for stretch film in the region.
