An Alto minicar is on the move; a rhythmic continuous noise is announced in the lower part of the engine; it is heavy and heavy; it sounds like a "just" metal crash; the body vibrates when it is severe.
The problem analysis and sweeping test found that the noise of the abnormal sound is in the lower part of the engine; when the engine is rapidly accelerating or decelerating; the abnormal noise is significant; and it does not change with the temperature change of the engine; it seems that there is a difference in the crankshaft bearing. Loud. Normally; the rear bearing sounds quiet and dull and heavy; while the front bearing movement tends to be light and brittle.
The causes of abnormal noise at the crankshaft bearing are as follows:
(1) The radial clearance of the main bearing is too large.
(2) The main bearing cap bolt is loose,
(3) The crankshaft is bent and deformed,
(4) The main bearing tile is burned,
(5) The main bearing bush is loose or cracked,
(6) The axial thrust washer is worn out too much,
(7) The main bearing is not smooth.
If it is because the axial thrust washer wears too much; the abnormal noise caused by the axial gap is too large and the crankshaft is tilted in the axial direction; it is a non-rhythmic abnormal sound.
The abnormal noise of the main bearing formed by other reasons; when the temperature is low after the cold start of the engine; the abnormal noise is especially obvious. When the abnormal sound occurs, the cylinder head of the faulty cylinder has a vibration feeling that coincides with the abnormal sound. The engine performs single-cylinder fire-breaking; the abnormal noise does not change significantly; and when the adjacent two cylinders are broken together, the abnormal sound can be seen or weakened; then the main bearing between the two cylinders is declared abnormal.
Remove the crankshaft; found that the axial thrust washer wears too much; after replacing a new one; reloading the test car;
