Screw conveyor installation technology

The proper installation of a screw conveyor is a crucial factor that determines its long-term performance and reliability. To ensure optimal operation, the installation must be carried out carefully and in accordance with the technical specifications provided. Here are the key requirements for the installation process: First, the foundation for the screw conveyor should be fully completed at least 20 days before the actual installation. The foundation must be strong enough to support the entire structure and prevent any sinking or deformation due to an unstable base. It should provide sufficient stability during operation. Before installation, the screw conveyor must be thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt, and any debris that may have accumulated during transportation or unloading. This ensures that no foreign materials interfere with the operation. The flange surfaces of adjacent housing sections should be flat and tightly joined. Any misalignment on the inner surface should not exceed 2 mm to maintain smooth material flow. An asbestos gasket between the flanges can help compensate for any length discrepancies between the casing and the screw body. This allows for minor adjustments during assembly. The outer diameter of the screw conveyor and the clearance between the screw and the casing must meet the specified values in the table below. If a larger gap is required based on user preferences, the minimum clearance should still be at least 50% of the nominal gap. For the intermediate bearings, they must be securely fastened to the lifting lugs on the casing. After connecting the screw segments, it should rotate smoothly without any jamming. During installation, adjustment spacers can be used between the bearing base and the casing lug to ensure coaxial alignment. The overall coaxiality of the screw shaft should meet the standards outlined in the following table. | Screw Nominal Diameter D (mm) | 100 | 160 | 250 | 315 | 400 | 500 | 630 | 800 | 1000 | 1250 | |------------------------------|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|------|------| | Nominal Gap (mm) | 7.5 | 10 | 12.5| 15 | 20 | - | - | - | - | - | The main shaft of the screw conveyor and the gear motor shaft must align according to GB1184-80 standards. Once all the mounting bases are in place, they should be tightened, followed by securing the anchor bolts. All coupling screws must be tightened properly to prevent loosening during operation. The inlet and outlet ports should be installed so that their flange surfaces are parallel to the axis of the screw conveyor. The connected flanges must make full contact without any gaps. After installation, check the oil levels in all lubrication points. If necessary, add more oil. Then perform a no-load test for up to 4 hours. During this time, inspect the assembly for any issues. If any of the following conditions are not met, stop the machine immediately and make necessary adjustments until everything operates smoothly. - The screw conveyor should run smoothly and reliably, with no loose fasteners. - After 2 hours of operation, the bearing temperature should not exceed 30°C, and the sealing should remain intact. - The reducer should show no oil leakage or unusual noise, and all electrical components and couplings should function safely. - The power consumption during no-load operation should not exceed 30% of the rated power. | Screw Conveyor Length L (m) | 8–15 | >15–30 | >30–50 | >50–70 | |-----------------------------|------|--------|--------|--------| | Coaxial Tolerance (φ mm) | 4 | 6 | 8 | 10 | Proper installation is essential for the longevity and efficiency of the screw conveyor. Following these guidelines will help ensure safe and reliable operation over time.

PC Transparent Roof Sheet

Polycarbonate roof sheets are a type of roofing material made from polycarbonate, a strong and durable thermoplastic material. These sheets are transparent or translucent, allowing natural light to enter a space while providing protection from the elements. Polycarbonate roof sheets are commonly used in applications such as greenhouses, skylights, patio covers, and industrial roofing. They are lightweight, easy to install, and offer high impact resistance, UV protection, and thermal insulation properties.
