However, because the alloy is a salt metamorphic alloy, the viscosity of the melt after deterioration is large, and the temperature and humidity of the air are required to be strict. Once it exceeds the limit, defects such as pores and slag inclusions will occur in the production process of the ingot, which will affect the use. In September, Harbin had more rain and brought great difficulties to the casting of the alloy.
Recently, the company's quality research team made a bold attempt to raise its thickness from 300mm to 420mm, and set up special management, one by one to carry out production analysis, optimization of the process, formulated a new process requirements in line with the characteristics of the alloy casting . After inspection of production practices, the new process has made a major breakthrough in quality research and the defects such as blowholes and slag inclusions in the ingot have been effectively controlled. According to statistics, in September, the comprehensive yield rate of the two batches of nearly 100 furnaces of this alloy thick ingot has increased to about 95%, and there is still room for improvement.
