The current best Czochralski single crystals generally have a decay rate of more than 2%, but the quasi-monocrystalline silicon module attenuation rate remains below 0.5%. "From this point of view, quasi-monocrystalline silicon products have greater advantages than monocrystalline silicon."

Quasi-single silicon heavy sub-market structure

At present, the market share of the photovoltaic market is 10%, and 90% of the market is crystalline silicon. The crystalline silicon market is subdivided into monocrystalline silicon and polysilicon. Relevant data show that the market share of monocrystalline silicon and polysilicon is between 30%-40% and 50%-60% respectively.

“But the new technology has limited impact on Czochralski's market share. Czochralski's single crystal will reduce some market share, but there is still room for demand. This is mainly because the product has not yet reached the single crystal conversion rate due to the different positioning of customers. Mass production speeds up PV access to the Internet

As a new technology, 'Jingfeng' product quality is very stable, and it is expected to achieve mass production after obtaining certification from all parties in June this year. At present, only one company, Jingao, can mass-produce in the world.

Currently, there are already 12 quasi-single crystal ingot casting furnaces in the Jinghai Group, Donghai. With the follow-up of the second phase of the project, the company will introduce 33 quasi-monocrystalline silicon ingot casting furnaces. The production capacity is expected to reach 200 by the end of the year. 300 MW. According to report, the cost of 'Crystal Maple' has increased by 0.3 yuan to 0.4 yuan compared to polysilicon ingots, but the conversion rate has increased by 0.5% to 1% compared to ordinary cast polysilicon, reaching 17.5% to 18%, and the total battery power of single spindles.
