The “Technical Requirements for Cosmetic Products†issued by the State Food and Drug Administration website on November 26, 2010 shall come into effect on April 1, 2011. The specification states that the technical requirements for cosmetic products are technical guarantees for the quality and safety of products. The new regulations require that the technical requirements for cosmetic products not only comply with the relevant national laws, regulations and standards, but also comply with the provisions of the text format. The text format should include the product name, formula composition, production process, sensory index, hygienic chemical indicators, microbiological indicators, test methods, instructions for use, storage conditions, shelf life and other sequences. The formulation ingredients should include all the raw materials used to produce the product. All raw materials should be arranged in descending order of their contents, and indicate their purpose of use.
