Mitsubishi Electric's "Presentation" show on the roof of the UK headquarters

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan has designed and installed a 49.4kWp PV system for its Mitsubishi Electric headquarters in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK.

The roof installation project is expected to generate 42,000 kWh per year and reduce carbon emissions by 22 metric tons.

Perry Jackson, general manager of the company’s photovoltaic division, explained: “As an important participant in the photovoltaic industry, we are considering that we should make full use of our ready-to-use ultra-wide roofing platform at Hatfield headquarters. How simple it is, how much carbon can be reduced, but you can still get so much electricity."

To help demonstrate the company's technology, Mitsubishi also installed a Fronius network monitoring system data logger to monitor the performance of the PV system. Both real-time and historical data of these records are updated on the website and all Mitsubishi customers can access it. Check it out.
